Innova Medical Group, Inc. delivers better global health outcomes with its deep expertise in testing and unique offerings in diagnostic medical devices and services that help tackle some of the world’s most challenging healthcare problems. Innova specializes in innovative screening, testing and diagnostics for cancer, heart disease, arterial calcification, stroke, and virus detection focused on infectious diseases.

In response to the global pandemic, Innova developed an end-to-end ecosystem of rapid diagnostic and screening tests, along with digital reporting and tracing applications to help organizations manage the COVID-19 crisis. In 2020, Innova delivered more than 220+ million COVID-19 test kits to over 20 countries around the globe, including the United Kingdom, Hungary, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and Myanmar.

As a leader in the research and development of in-vitro diagnostic reagents and test kits, Innova has improved lives with testing, monitoring, and implementing medical care. Innova Medical Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pasaca Capital, Inc. and is headquartered in Pasadena, CA.

Our Team

Sean E. Rogers


Sean joined Innova Medical Group in February of 2021 from Citigroup, where he was most recently the Global Head of Technology Strategy and Solutions. In this role, Rogers created partnerships between established companies and promising startups, and shepherded many high-profile technology companies through capital formation, as well as mergers and acquisitions. As diagnostic medicine moves toward incorporating artificial intelligence and machine learning, Rogers’ experience in the field will assure that Innova continues to deliver sophisticated and equitable diagnostic tests. Prior to his career in Investment Banking, Sean was in Sports Marketing and Brand Management at a Leading Consumer Packaged Goods Company. He sits on the Board of Visitors for Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

Daniel Elliott


Daniel Elliott is a recognized leader in business growth strategy across a diverse number of market sectors. Daniel has deep experience in identifying and commercializing leading edge technologies, corporate M&A transactions, capital investments, technology validation, successful strategic partnerships, operations and other key activities associated with business value growth.

Todd Malan, MD


Dr. Malan has built a long record of scientific and medical innovation, both in his most recent role as the Senior Vice President of clinical research at Quantum Material Corporation and through his specialized research in stem cell therapy and regenerative medicine. He previously served as Chief Medical Officer for iQuantum Labs, founded the investigational research for adipose derived cell therapies at the Center for Regenerative Cell Medicine, and served as Medical Director for adipose tissues services at Celebration Stem Cell Labs in Arizona. He holds board certifications from the American Board of Regenerative Medicine, the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from University of Arizona College of Medicine.

Robert Kasprzak


As a licensed attorney in California and Texas, Robert has played a critical role in private and public start-ups, as well as mergers and acquisitions for both domestic and international clients. Robert’s stellar career includes the acquisition of a private equity firm in Holland, a battery manufacturer in Germany, and now working closely with Innova Medical Group to build strategic partnerships in Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East. Robert brings a sound business mindset of mitigating liability while maximizing profit and return on investment. He is no stranger to negotiating high stakes conflict resolutions in jurisdictions all over the world.

Robbin Xu, Ph.D.


Dr. Xu serves as Director of Clinical Programs and is responsible for managing clinical projects that improve global health. Dr. Xu also serves as a bioscience advisor to the Innova leadership team. Earning his Ph.D. at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Dr. Xu focused his research on identifying metalloprotease genes, neuralization, and Wnt signaling pathways. The Wnt pathway offers clinical importance by studying mutations that lead to various diseases including breast, brain and prostate cancer, and Type 2 diabetes. Robbin has published many papers supporting his earlier research in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Besides his impressive bioscience research, Dr. Xu has served as a scientific analyst, specializing in biotech investments, for American Compass, Inc. prior to joining Innova.

Eric Grubel


Eric pairs innovation with decades of senior leadership experience at technology-driven firms, including Alcatel-Lucent. He served as CEO and president for Asoka USA Corporation. His key roles at Pasaca Capital and Innova Medical Group, Inc. tap into his proven success of driving growth and profitability by structuring critical partnerships and securing new business with leading global corporations. Eric earned his Master of Philosophy and International Business and Finance from New York University’s School of Business after graduating with Honors with a Bachelor of Science, Computer and Information Sciences, from Queen’s University in Canada. Eric also served as an adjunct faculty member at NYU, teaching International Financial Management and International Trade Theory and Commercial Policy.

Kyle Treude


Kyle brings over 20 years of successful commercial leadership experience in innovative and disruptive medical devices to Innova Medical Group. He serves as Vice President, Sales and is responsible for the global growth of Innova Med Group’s product portfolio. He has extensive experience in new concept introduction, team development, reimbursement, channel development and sales strategy implementation and has served key leadership positions in several large pharmaceutical and medical devices companies including Dexcom, Inc. and Medtronic. Kyle received his Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business.

Xavier Guerin


Xavier leads the EMEA market for Innova Medical Group. With a chemical engineering and organic chemistry background, Xavier’s accomplishment spans an array of diversified industries including chemicals,pharmaceuticals, environment and energy for Fortune 500 companies as well as startups. His different tenures in Europe and in the USA have defined him as a thoughtful leader with unique capabilities to manage complex projects through purposeful thinking. Xavier earned his M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Université de Technologie de Compiègne and an M.S. in Organic and Mineral Chemistry from Ecole supérieure de Chimie organique et minérale.

Peter Santeusanio


Peter is uniquely qualified to navigate the challenges of research and resources in this new era of medical care. Peter combines the dual strengths of being a strategic marketer and technology visionary. During the past 25 years, he founded more than a dozen high-tech firms and has served as an executive mentor, board member as well as investor in the growth industries of Artificial Intelligence, Web Technologies and Networking/Security. His senior management roles at Appfire Technologies, AirFort Networks and Bizfon, demonstrates his incisive business acumen and exceptional technical talent. Peter was chief architect of one of the first Wi-Fi telephone handsets and wireless IP session controllers. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
